Castril borders the stunning Natural Park of Cazorla and has typical whitewashed Andalusian houses and narrow cobbled streets. It has all of the usual amenities as well as a river walkway and lovely open-air swimming pool open during the summer months.

This area is very popular with tourists and the surrounding beautiful countryside is perfect for outdoor activities.

There are two lakes in the area – Reservoir El Portillo the Bolera Reservoir – these are both very scenic with crystal clear waters, ideal for a picnic, enjoying the stunning surrounding scenery and at Bolera Reservoir you can also take part in watersports or enjoy a refreshing swim.
