This property is situated in an elevated position with views over Caniles village and the lovely surrounding countryside.
It is a lovely part cave / part cortijo with the entrance from street leading directly into the first lounge which has a fireplace with almond husk burner and small curtained storage area which just needs a bit of finishing off.
You go through a walkway into an office space with a single bed in at present, and a further storage area. This area could be opened up to give a bigger room.
There is then a bathroom (with shower) and hallway which leads through into the main lounge which is a good size, has a fireplace and a doorway leading out to the road – this provides excellent ventilation and is probably the main reason that the cave is in such good condition.
The stairs lead up to the landing of the cortijo part of the property which has exposed beams, lots of natural light and two further bedrooms which both have ensuites.
The master bedroom is a double with stunning views and a shower ensuite. There is an office area outside this bedroom and therefore the opportunity of transforming the ensuite into a full bathroom if required if you combined the ensuite and office area.
There is also a second bedroom which is a twin, which also has a shower ensuite.
The landing leads onto a terrace area with the most outstanding mountain views as far as the eye can see. What a wonderful place to be able to enjoy the warm sunshine from whilst having your morning coffee.
All mains services are connected and internet is possible.
Access is good and parking is on street.
Caniles is a very pretty little village on the border of a Natural Park with various bars, shops and a weekly market. There's a large park at the top of the town with a café where you can sit and enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.
Baza is just ten mins by car which is a large town with every amenity you could wish for including shops, restaurants, bars, a theatre, hotels, gyms, indoor and outdoor pools, a hospital etc. It´s world famous for it´s Cascamorras fiesta every September.
The coast and Granada airport are around 1h15 drive away and Almeria airport 1h40 drive away. Other accessible airports are Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.

Hay dos dormitorios que salen del salón. El salón cuenta con chimenea y puerta que da a la carretera, esto proporciona una excelente ventilación que es una de las razones por las que la cueva se encuentra en tan buenas condiciones.
Las escaleras conducen al rellano de la parte cortijo de la propiedad que tiene vigas expuestas, mucha luz natural y dos dormitorios más que tienen baño privado.
El dormitorio principal es doble con impresionantes vistas y baño privado con ducha.
Hay un área de oficina fuera de este dormitorio y, por lo tanto, existe la oportunidad de transformar la suite en un baño completo si es necesario si combina el área de la suite y la oficina.
También hay un segundo dormitorio con dos camas individuales, que también dispone de baño privado con ducha. El rellano conduce a una zona de terraza con las vistas a la montaña más espectaculares hasta donde alcanza la vista.

Caniles es un pequeño pueblo muy bonito en el límite de un Parque Natural con varios bares, tiendas y un mercado semanal. Hay un gran parque en lo alto.
Baza está a sólo diez minutos en coche y es una gran ciudad con todas las comodidades que puedas desear, incluidas tiendas, restaurantes, bares, teatro, hoteles, piscinas, un hospital, etc.
La costa y el aeropuerto de Granada están a unas 1h15 en coche y el aeropuerto de Almería a 1h40 en coche. Otros aeropuertos accesibles son Murcia, Alicante y Málaga.
