Benamaurel village has all the usual day to day amenities which include a weekly market and an outdoor swimming open during summer months. The annual "Moors and Christians" fiesta held each April is said to be the largest village procession in Andalucía.

The large town of Baza is 15-minute drive away where you'll find every amenity and the motorway link, Granada airport is an hour from Baza. Other accessible airports are Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.
