Cave House – Cullar

It has a big front garden and there is flat land above (around 1,000m2).  The cave has been empty for a number of years but once electricity is connected it could be livable and worked on whilst living there.

Mains water is connected and there's a septic tank.  Electricity is to the perimeter of the property so just needs to be connected.  Internet is possible.

It would be ideal as rental accommodation as one of the caves could be lived in whilst the others are rented out, or it could be knocked into one big cave or two caves. It could also be suitable for a large/extended family looking to put their own stamp on their new home. There are lots of options and this is the beauty of purchasing a cave like this, you can have a certain amount of input into it so that it can be reformed to suit your requirements (within practical reason).

The main cave consists of a kitchen, a living room with fireplace, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

If the smaller caves were to be kept as they are now but reformed, one could have one bedroom and the other wo bedrooms.

Cúllar and Benamaurel are around 10 mins drive away and both have bars, banks, shops, swimming pools, a medical centre, a chemist, schools, a weekly market and a fantastic Moors and Christians fiestas annually.

Almeria, Granada and Murcia airports are around 1h30 drive away, Alicante is around 1h45 drive away, Malaga is around 2h20 by car.

The coast is around an hour's drive away and there are beach areas and hot springs at Freila which is around 35 minutes drive away.
