Country Estate – Benamaurel

As mentioned above, theres also a set of caves to reform situated to the left of the house.

Water is available through a tank located 200 meters from the house. The electricity has to be through solar panels.

The closest town is Benamaurel, which is about 10 minutes drive away, Baza is about 30 km away.

The property has fantastic countryside and mountain views.

Benamaurel is steeped in history and is close to the Natural Parks of Baza and Cazorla, the beautiful Lake Negratin and Jabalcon mountain. It is a very pretty natural spot ideal for outdoor pursuits and has all the usual facilities including an outdoor swimming open during summer months. The annual "Moors and Christians" fiesta held each April is said to be the largest village procession in Andalucía.

Baza is a big bustling town with schools, a theatre, gyms, outdoor and indoor pools, big supermarkets, a hospital etc.

It´s around 1h30 from the coast and 25 minutes (30km) away from Lake Negratin which has beach areas.

The nearest airport is Granada which is approximately 1h15 drive away (152km). The other nearest airports are (by car) – Almeria 1h39 (166km), Murcia 2h10 (200km), Alicante 2h20 (237) and Malaga 2h22 (244km).
